The Mathematics Heads of Faculty Network

Meeting of Heads of MathematicsThis Network started in the early 90s by a small number of Mathematics Heads of Faculty from independent schools in Victoria and each took turns in hosting meetings at their Schools. The list enables members to share information and discuss via email, issues concerning Heads of Mathematics.

The Mathematics Heads of Faculty Network discussion list (MathsHOF) is set up by Angela Kotsiras and there are currently over 300 members on this list. Although membership is predominantly from independent schools, there are also Heads of Mathematics and Mathematics teachers in leadership positions from Government and other Institutions. All members have an opportunity to meet on an annual basis in June, on the day Year 11 and 12 students undertake their General Achievement Test. The all-day meeting is held at a school whose Head of Mathematics has volunteered to host the meeting that year. All Heads of Mathematics, Mathematics teachers in leadership positions or interested educators are welcome to join the discussion group. The more diverse the group the more Mathematics teachers in leadership positions can learn from each other. To  join this Network please submit the following information.
