1. Agreement and service
These Terms govern the use of MathsTeachersOnly.com (‘the Website’) operated by Mrs Angela Kotsiras trading as Maths Teachers Only (‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’). By using the Website you agree to these Terms, subject to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
The Website provides teaching materials, explanations, links and other resources for educational use. Some resources require free registration and email verification. Access may change, and external resource availability is not within our control.
2. Important definitions
‘Our Original Resources’ means resources solely owned by Maths Teachers Only, or resources for which we hold permission to grant the educational uses described in section 4. Jointly authored and third-party materials remain subject to their stated permissions and licences.
‘Third-Party Content’ means resources or other material created by external educators, publishers or providers, whether linked, embedded or made available with permission. ‘Content’ includes Our Original Resources and Third-Party Content.
3. Free membership and account responsibilities
Users may register for a free account to access designated resources. Registration requires accurate required details, acceptance of relevant policies and email verification. Newsletter subscription is optional and is not a condition of membership.
Keep your password confidential and promptly advise us of suspected unauthorised account use. Accounts may be limited, suspended or closed where reasonably necessary for security, unlawful use or material breaches of these Terms. You may request account deletion by using our Contact page, subject to necessary record retention.
4. Educational permission for our original teaching resources
Unless a particular resource states otherwise, we permit teachers to download, reproduce, print, adapt and share Our Original Resources directly with their own students for classroom teaching, school learning and other educational, non-commercial purposes, provided that the creator’s name, MathsTeachersOnly.com credit and any accompanying acknowledgements are retained.
This permission includes placing copies in a school’s access-controlled learning environment for the teacher’s enrolled students. It does not authorise selling resources, incorporating them into paid collections, reposting them on public websites or publicly redistributing files, or removing identifying attributions. Contact us for permission for uses outside this educational licence. We retain ownership of our original content; no transfer of copyright is intended.
5. Third-party content and copyright
Third-Party Content remains the property of its respective copyright holder. The educational permission in section 4 does not apply to Third-Party Content unless its owner separately grants the relevant rights. Users must follow the third party’s stated licence, access and attribution requirements.
Links to external services do not imply endorsement or guarantee accuracy or availability. If you believe material on this Website infringes rights, contact us using our Contact page with sufficient information to investigate and address the issue.
6. Contributions from others
If you submit a resource for consideration, you confirm that you own it or are authorised to share it and that the proposed publication will not infringe others’ rights. Submission does not automatically mean we will publish it.
We will clarify the intended publication and reuse permission with the creator before hosting submitted third-party files. We do not assume that receipt of a resource grants us an unrestricted, irrevocable licence to reuse it for every purpose.
7. Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorised access; bypass membership or download controls; collect other users’ personal information; upload malicious material; impersonate others; interfere with the Website; or use Content unlawfully or in breach of copyright or privacy rights. Automated bulk scraping or redistribution of protected resources is not permitted without written authorisation.
8. Third-party websites, affiliate links and advertising
The Website links to other websites and may include affiliate links, including Amazon Australia book links. We may earn a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost arising solely from using the affiliate link. See the Disclosure Policy for further detail. Third-party purchases, terms, delivery, returns and privacy practices are managed by the relevant provider.
9. Availability and limitations
We endeavour to provide useful, accurate teaching information, but resources may contain errors or become outdated. Teachers should exercise professional judgement and check curricular suitability, factual accuracy and permissions before use.
The Website may be modified, unavailable or interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we do not accept responsibility for losses resulting from such issues or from use of external materials. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law where doing so would be unlawful.
10. Privacy and account deletion
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You may request correction or deletion of account information by using our Contact page, subject to applicable recordkeeping, legal and security requirements.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these Terms and provide notice on the Website or by email where appropriate. Changes take effect from the stated effective date, subject to applicable law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, with the courts of Victoria having non-exclusive jurisdiction where lawful.
